Political Rebranding
Maybe, Sinn Fein should seriously consider rebranding to The "People's Democratic Left Party of Ireland". If the object is to bring about the reintegration of the national territory of island of Ireland. The Republican, Nationalists, Socialists, Greens and Communists, can unite but retain their respective ideological internal factions. Not to do so, will in all probability squander the political and cultural gains of a scarified generation and the inconclusive struggle of the rights agenda. Maybe, it is time to separate the chaff from the wheat. United the Irish Republican family, will stand and divided, they will surely fall.
Regrettably, the perception of Sinn Fein is not entirely the same North and South? Presumably, for historic reasons? It will be a crucial mistake not to acknowledge the ever increasing salient reality of the very many misleading and mischievous popularist faces of fascism and xenophobic forces, both internally, externally which are being managed and manipulated. These groups are operating, under the pretext and disguise neo-nationalists, holding themselves out, as types of national socialist. Most especially, in the areas of the emotive mix - in relation, to jobs, housing, health and immigration. Therefore, the risks of division are to high.
I. E. Not to sing from the same hymn sheet, in relation to the aforementioned resource allocation and policy areas, will result in a disastrous outcome and set Irish unification and sovereign independence back considerably.
The xenophobic fascists haven't gone away you know?
