POTENTIAL HMG WAR CRIME COMPLICITY?
The Iran war instigated by the USA has placed the UK / HMG in an invidious situation. Clearly, this war was nevertheless a breach of public international law, in the absence of viable self defence augments : and or a UN Security Council resolution. Neither existed? Therefore, HMG acted unlawfully and are complicit in an inchoate participation. Keir Starmer as a former Criminal law Crown Prosecution lawyer - knows that there is no legal defence to HMG decisions and actions, in military action in Iran, during a peace defence diplomacy? Commencing with targeting and the assassination of a Sovereign State leader? It all appears to be have been pre-planned??? This is a very dangerous precedent. The subsequent actions of Iran are not a factor in HMG's initial decision and actions. However, deplorable. At best, British Prime Minister Keir Starmers, reasoning amounts to a plea in mitigation - for a guilty plea of complicity, in an inchoate participation, in what may or may not involve consequential unlawful war crimes against civilian Iranian children? Presumably, this is a matter, which may only be adjudicated at the Hague?
NB. It is of course accepted that Iran should give up its nuclear weapons ambitions. This is always provided all nuclear weapons are dismantled and decommissioned. After all the USA are the only
nation state to have used atomic bombs on Japan. This of course was a totally unjustifiable unconscionable act of inhumanity and cowardice.
